Are you someone that feels that their use of alcohol is getting or is already out of control?
-
Are you fed up with waking up with a hangover, when you really needed to be 'on the ball' for that meeting?
-
Tired of struggling through work?
-
Worried about your physical health?
-
Worried about some of the risky situations you have found yourself in?
-
Can't remember what happened the 'night before'?
Drink-less workshops are one-day sessions for those that want to make changes to their drinking and their lives. With a combined experience of decades working with substance use, Jane and Cliff Askey have utilised their extensive training in hypnotherapy, NLP, life coaching, drug and alcohol counseling, CBT and alternative health practice, to bring you this life-changing experience.
Although these workshops are not aimed at those with heavy-end chaotic drinking patterns or alcohol dependency, assisting people through these issues has helped us identify and develop a range of tools to enable those that are questioning their drinking habits to make the changes they wish to make. Habits are learned behaviours and in this workshop, we will teach you to unlearn unhelpful behaviours and learn more useful ones in a supportive and understanding environment.
We recognise that people over-drink for a variety of reasons and that the physiological effects of alcohol can appear to be a useful strategy for dealing with a variety of social situations. During the seminar, we will address alternative strategies to achieve these underlying goals as well as covering basic harm reduction and health information.
