We are Jane and Cliff Askey.  We have both been working with individuals to help them to achieve changes in their lives for over a decade. We are both experienced Hypnotherapist's, Master NLP practitioners and Life Coaches as well as Lightning Process™ Practitioners. We are both BSc Honor graduates, with degrees in Substance Misuse Managment.

Having worked for many years with substance misuser's, Jane and Cliff went on to train with Phil Parker (who developed the Lightning Process™) at the European College of Holistic Medicine (Phil Parker Training Institute), where they are both now tutors and examiners on the highly acclaimed Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching course. Whilst specialising is substance misuse, we both have an extensive range of experience in working with ME, Anxiety, Depression, Phobias and a wide range of social and emotional issues. We are happy to discuss treatment, in strictest confidence at your convienence.

Jane first started working in the field of addictions whilst a volunteer at Release in 1996.  She has worked in a variety of settings, including residential detox, NHS and community drug services.   She spent 7 years working with problematic drug users in one of the most highly respected treatment services in central London and is now working as a Dual Diagnosis Specialist, with clients with concurrent mental health and substance misuse issues for the NHS in London.  She has consistently sought to help those with the most challenging of issues with a particular interest in mental health.  Jane met Phil Parker in 2002 and he encouraged her to train with him in Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching, She went on to become a Master Practitioner and currently works as a tutor and examiner at the European College of Holistic Medicine (Phil Parker Training Institute). She is a registered Lightning Process Practitioner and also delivers training on "working with substance misuse" and "Dual Diagnosis".  Having had first-hand experience of depression and anxiety, resulting in in-patient hospitalisation 15 years ago, Jane considers that period in her life to have been her 'greatest gift'. 

Cliff has come from a background of alternative medicine, having run his own business as a masseuse in the late 90's. He began working with addiction around this time and went on to work in residential and day programs before settling into a specialism with stimulant abuse in 2002. He is currently a Senior Practitioner at a stiumlant service, where he has developed a group-work programme as well as working with a wide range of substance misusers.  He first met Phil Parker in 1988 and went on to train at the European College of Holistic Medicine (Phil Parker Training Institute) in Hypnotherapy, NLP and Life Coaching, going on to become a Master practitioner. He is a registered Lightning Process Practitioner and currently works as a tutor and examiner at the college. He also delivers a variety of training programmes on "working with addiction".

They have four teenage children between them and therefore have a keen sense of humour.
